HONORING THE FALLEN: JOSH

"He was amazing. He was just such a good soldier."

SSG Joshua Hager, United States Army, was killed Thursday February 22 in Ar Ramadi, Iraq of injuries he suffered a day earlier when an explosive device detonated near a vehicle he was in. SSG Hager is survived by his wife, Heather, and son, Bayley. He is also survived by his mother, Lois Knight of Broomfield, CO, his father, Kris Hager of Sarasota, FL, and his step-brother, Ensign Aaron Jozsef, USCG serving in Miami, FL.

SSG Hager would say, and as all Rangers would say, "Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, 'Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?' And I said, "Here I am. Send me!" Rangers Lead The Way.
